Beauty Still Exists—Look Closer

Apr 9, 2026 | Hard Times | Psalm 19:1

Even in a world marked by brokenness and uncertainty, God’s fingerprints of beauty and purpose remain all around us. From the quiet sunrise to a kind word spoken at the right moment, reminders of His goodness are woven into everyday life. These glimpses are not accidental—they are intentional signs of a Creator who continues to bring light into darkness.

Scripture tells us, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands” (Psalm 19:1, BSB). When we train our hearts to notice what is good, we begin to see beyond temporary struggles and recognize the deeper meaning God is shaping in our lives. Beauty does not deny hardship, but it reveals that hardship does not have the final word.

In seasons when life feels heavy, choosing to look for God’s goodness can renew our perspective. Gratitude becomes a doorway to hope, and hope anchors us in truth. God is always at work, creating purpose even in places we least expect.

Today, slow down and notice the beauty around you. Let it remind you that your life has meaning, and that God is faithfully writing a story filled with His grace.

Prayer for today: Lord, open my eyes to see Your beauty and purpose in every season. Help me to trust that You are working all things for good in my life.
