Faithfulness is not measured by applause, but by obedience. In a world that quickly forgets kindness and moves on to the next headline, it can feel discouraging to pour yourself out and see little return. A thoughtful gesture goes unnoticed. A sacrifice is unacknowledged. A quiet act of integrity is overlooked.
Yet Scripture reminds us that our true audience is not the crowd—it is God. “Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9, BSB). The harvest may not come in the form of recognition. It may not even come today. But God sees every unseen act of love, every hidden prayer, every quiet decision to honor Him.
Jesus Himself healed, served, and loved—even when many walked away. He calls us to do the same. When you choose kindness over bitterness, generosity over selfishness, and truth over compromise, you reflect His heart. That is never wasted.
So keep showing up. Keep forgiving. Keep serving. Your obedience plants seeds in soil you may never see—but God promises growth in His perfect time.
Today, ask yourself: What good can I do simply because it honors the Lord?
Prayer: Father, help me to do good with a faithful heart, even when no one notices. Strengthen me to serve You alone and trust You for the harvest. Amen.
