Let Go of the Why. Stay Steady.

Hard seasons often stir up hard questions. Why did this happen? How long will it last? What is God doing? Yet Scripture reminds us that love—true, Christ-centered love—rests even when answers do not come.

First Corinthians 13:7 tells us, “It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (1 Corinthians 13:7, BSB). This kind of love is not blind optimism. It is anchored trust. It believes that God is good, even when life feels confusing. It hopes because it knows the Father is faithful. It endures because it understands that trials are never wasted in His hands.

When we walk in love toward God, we release our demand for explanations. We may not understand the details, but we trust His character. Isaiah declared, “You will keep in perfect peace the steadfast of mind, because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3, BSB). Peace does not come from having every answer; it comes from knowing the One who holds them.

Today, if you are facing something difficult, choose trust over turmoil. Let love steady your heart. Rest in the truth that God sees, God knows, and God is working for your good.

Lord, teach me to trust You without demanding answers. Fill my heart with Your perfect peace as I rest in Your faithful love.
