“He who plants kindness gathers love” reflects a timeless biblical principle: what we sow will eventually grow. Kindness is never wasted in God’s economy. Scripture reminds us, “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return” (Galatians 6:7, BSB). When we choose kindness—especially when it is inconvenient or undeserved—we are planting seeds that God can multiply.
Kindness may look small in the moment: a gentle word, patient listening, forgiveness instead of retaliation, or compassion in the face of hurt. Yet God uses these quiet acts to soften hearts, restore relationships, and reflect His love to a watching world. Jesus modeled this perfectly, extending mercy and grace wherever He went. His kindness did not ignore truth, but it always led with love.
There will be days when kindness feels unnoticed or unreturned. In those moments, remember that God sees every seed planted. Love may not bloom immediately, but in time, it will bear fruit—in others and in your own heart. As you walk in kindness today, trust that God is cultivating something beautiful through your obedience.
Prayer for today:
Lord, help me plant kindness in every interaction today. May my words and actions reflect Your love and bring glory to You. Amen.
