It is easy to become consumed by what is right in front of us—our worries, disappointments, and personal struggles. When challenges feel overwhelming, they can shrink our perspective until all we see is the problem. Yet God invites us to lift our eyes beyond the immediate and remember that His world, His plans, and His purposes are far greater than any single hardship.
Scripture reminds us, “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18, BSB). Our struggles, though real, are not the whole story. God is at work in ways we cannot always see, weaving beauty, growth, and purpose into every season.
When we step back and trust Him, our burdens begin to loosen their grip. We start to notice His blessings, His presence, and His faithfulness in places we may have overlooked. The world becomes bigger again—not because our problems disappear, but because God’s goodness comes back into view.
Today, take a moment to breathe, look up, and remember who is in control. His plans stretch far beyond today.
Prayer: Lord, help me to lift my eyes beyond my struggles and trust in Your greater plan. Remind me of Your goodness and give me peace in every season.
