What Lasts Is Never Left Unprotected

Mar 26, 2026 | Prayer | Isaiah 26:3

Peace is often spoken of as something gentle and quiet, but true peace requires strength to sustain it. In our personal lives, relationships, and even in our faith, peace is not simply the absence of conflict—it is the presence of something strong enough to stand firm when challenges arise.

The peace that God offers is not fragile. It is grounded in truth, righteousness, and trust in Him. Scripture says, “You will keep in perfect peace the steadfast of mind, because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3, BSB). When our hearts are anchored in God’s truth, we are able to remain steady even when circumstances around us feel uncertain.

Living in God’s peace also means standing firmly for what is right. As believers, we are called to pursue peace while remaining faithful to the truth of God’s Word. A peace built on compromise or avoidance will not last, but a peace rooted in God’s wisdom and righteousness can endure every storm.

When we walk closely with the Lord, He strengthens our hearts and gives us the courage to protect the peace He provides. His presence becomes our foundation, allowing us to live with calm confidence in a restless world.

Prayer for today:
Lord, help me walk in the peace that comes from trusting You. Strengthen my heart to stand firm in Your truth while living as a peacemaker each day. Amen.
